Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al-Thani, CIE (c 1876 - 27 April 1957) was ruler or hakim of Qatar from 1913 to 1949, succeding his father Shaikh Jasim bin Muhammad Al-Thani. In 1915, he declared his independence from the Ottoman Empire and made Qatar a British Protectorate the following year. He ruled until 1949, when he abdicated in favor of his son, Sheikh Ali bin Abdullah Al-Thani.
