Shha or He (Һ, һ) is a letter in the Cyrillic alphabet used in Bashkir, Kalmyk, Kazakh, Kildin Sami, Sakha, Tatar, Buryat and Yakut. It was also used in Azerbaijani at one time, but Azerbaijani has adapted Latin writing now.
This originally derives from Latin "H", but the majuscule form is more similar to an inverted che.
The letter was taken from the Janalif alphabet where it represented the same consonant.
Its sound value is a voiceless glottal fricative, IPA: [h].
