Trivia
- One of the odd scenes occurred during the first stage group A match between Al Nasser & Real Madrid when goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Khojali suffered a concussion and had to be substituted. Al-Khojali started running around & shouting unconsciously, fleeing every time from paramedics until they finally calmed him down.
