The 2007 Mid Continental Football League season is the 17th season of the Mid Continental Football League. The regular season will begin play on July 28, 2007 and concluded on September 22.
On January 28, 2007, the team owners and league officials conducted a meeting in Fort Wayne, Indiana to discuss the status of the league for 2007.
This was the first official function in which Pete White assumed control as the new president of the league.
One of the most important issues at the meeting was possibly expanding the league. There were ten teams, as of end of the 2006 season. However, the Michigan Twisters have shown interest in continuing their hiatus, due to the health of their owner. And it is currently unknown if the Twisters will return to play in the MCFL. But there have been rumors that they have foldedcitation needed. The Jackson Bombers are currently on a one year leave of absence.[1]
The Indiana Mustangs have relocated from Kokomo, IN to Noblesville, IN.
The regular season starts on July 28 and ends on September 22. The first round of the playoffs start on September 29 and the MCFL Championship game is to be played on October 13.
After a decision by the MCFL executive committee, the Evansville Vipers were removed from the league as of August 21, 2007.
