Notes

  1. ^ a b c d e f g h The Swedish Football Association has decided that Allsvenskan will be expanded to 16 teams effective from the 2008 season. This means that three teams will be promoted from Superettan while only one team will be relegated from Allsvenskan, two teams will be promoted from each of the two Division 1 groups while only two teams will be relegated from Superettan, and one team will be promoted from each of the six Division 2 groups while (probably) only two teams will be relegated from each of the two Division 1 groups.
  2. ^ A 2007–08 tournament of Royal League was planned, but in the end never played.
  3. ^ Sweden was awarded a 0–3 win as the referee chose to abandon the match in the 89th minute. The security on Parken could not be guaranteed after a supporter had entered the pitch and attacked the referee. The score at that moment was 3–3, a Denmark player had been sent off and Sweden had been awarded a penalty kick..
