3 Melancholy Gypsys is an American hip-hop group from Los Angeles, California that consists of Eligh, MURS and Scarub. The 3 met for the first time in 1992 at Hamilton High School.and after forming 3MG were incorporated into the Log Cabin Crew. The trio worked on music as 3MG and the Log Cabin for a while until the Log Cabin Crew disbanded. Around 1995 the 3 would meet again and reunite in Oakland at the Outhouse where the Living Legends crew was taking shape.
