Alvediston is a village and civil parish in the Salisbury district of Wiltshire, England, with a population of 91 (2001 census). It is about eight miles east of Shaftesbury, at grid reference ST976234, 51°0′36.41″N 2°2′5.76″W / 51.0101139, -2.0349333 and is the source of the River Ebble.

Anthony Eden, 1st Earl of Avon, Prime Minister 1955-57, is buried in the churchyard.
