Accreditation
The ATS Commission on Accrediting provides accreditation for graduate schools of theology. The Commission is made up of all member schools that are themselves accredited or are candidates for accrediting. It is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and United States Department of Education to accredit schools. ATS should not be confused with regional accreditation.
Requirements
Schools accredited by ATS generally require the completion of three years of full-time ministry after the initial theological degree, normally the Master of Divinity (MDiv) before entering any Doctor of Ministry program.
