The description of the cable type is not a reference to a manufacturer or distributor. It is just a generally known type of cable which is used world wide for network use.
Distribution of Audio Visual can easily become an expensive hobby. Using common CAT 5 cable as the cable network can remedy expensive cable networks. There are CAT 5 Audio Visual Distribution Systems available and there are some very nice and very easy to navigate systems to provide your home or business with a distribution system which will allow control of most available audio visual utilities using CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable as the backbone. CAT cable is comparatively inexpensive to install.
The systems not only allow distribution but full control of the utilities from any location on the network. Of course, the utilities require infrared control.
