Augusta Technical College is a two-year college based in Augusta, Georgia.

Academics

Recently all Associate of Applied Technology degree programs have been changed to Associate of Applied Science degrees.

History

Augusta Technical College was founded in 1961 as Augusta Area Vocational-Technical School. It was merged with Richmond Area Vocational School in 1966 and renamed to Augusta Area Technical School. In 1987 it was renamed again to Augusta Technical Institute, and took its current name in 2000.

The school has three campuses, one in Augusta, another in Thomson, and the third in Waynesboro. As a technical college it is governed by Technical College System of Georgia.
