BMC Health Services Research is an electronic-only medical journal, which publishes original peer-reviewed research articles on the subject of health services. It is also known as BioMed Central health services research and Health services research. It has been published by BioMed Central out of London since 2001. Articles published in the journal are freely available on-line immediately after publication, and are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution License.1 Articles are immediately published without restriction on length upon reviewers' recommendation.2
