FGCBarcelona L6 logo.PNGLine 6 or L6, coloured navy blue, (currently terminating at Plaça Catalunya - Reina Elisenda) is the name of a Barcelona Metro and Metro del Vallès service in the city of Barcelona operated by FGC,[1] and part of the ATM fare-integrated transport system. Originally one among many other urban lines of the FGC network, and previously numbered U6,[2] it shares tracks with other services in several stations, except the ones exclusive to its separate branch. L6 links Plaça de Catalunya, the city centre, with the district of Sarrià-Sant Gervasi. In the future the service will be extended westwards, eventually reaching the Monastery of Pedralbes and the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu Barcelona.[3]

This line is not to be confused with the unrelated line VI which was proposed in 1965 but was later slowly abandoned from 1984-2001.
