Broadcasting Dataservices (BDS) is a television and radio listings provider for a number of broadcasters and STB platforms, they supply EPG data within the UK to Sky, Virgin Media, and Tiscali TV, they also supply data for over twenty countries for Microsoft Windows Media Centres EPG.
BDS is based in West London and its £4 Million database contains listings for over 1,200 channels from around Europe, they are the official suppliers of listings information on behalf of the BBC, ITV, Five, Virgin Media Television, UKTV and a number of niche channels, including Teachers TV and Setanta Sports.
BDS was previously owned by BBC Worldwide and ITV, in October 2005 it was purchased by BBC Broadcast, since rebranded as Red Bee Media.
