Byrne's Cove, also known as Burns Cove is an area in Kilkee, County Clare in Ireland. It is situated close to George's Head, which is a prominent headland in Kilkee. Historically Byrne's Cove was a men's-only swimming area, where men swam naked. Byrne's Cove is also the starting point for the mile-long bay swim which is held annually. Now both men and women enjoy one of the best swimming places in the world.
