This category (a subcategory of CAT:CSD) tracks pages that have been nominated for speedy deletion under CSD G12; as they are copyright violations. To list pages in this category, tag them with the template {{db-copyvio}}. If there is any doubt about the suitability of a page for speedy deletion, consider sending it to XfD instead.

Please be careful when marking a page as a copyright violation. This category is for pages or images whose original forms were copyright infringements. If the page only recently experienced copyright problems, please consider simply reverting those changes. If the page does not consist of an obvious or verbatim copyright violation, please consider using {{copyvio}} instead so that it may undergo further review. You can warn copyvio page creators using one of the following templates:

{{subst:nothanks|Article name}}
{{subst:nothanks-sd|pg=Article name|url=http://sitename}}
{{subst:nothanks-web|pg=Article name|url=http://sitename}}

If you block or ban a user for (re)creation of content that is restricted by copyright, please list the pages in question in HTML comments (i.e. between <!-- and --> markers) to aid unblock review.
