Images in this category have no information on their source. Many of them may be copyright problems. Images that have been in this category for more than seven days (currently anything before 23 August 2008) may be speedy deleted in accordance with speedy criterion I4.

To tag an image that has no source, use

{{no source|month=August|day=30|year=2008}} or simply {{subst:nsd}}

which will put the image in Category:Images with unknown source as of 30 August 2008. (If the category doesn't exist yet, please create it.)

When tagging a problem image, consider notifying the uploader. You can add

{{subst:Image source|Image:ImageName.jpg}} --~~~~

to the uploader's talk page.

Users sometimes specify the source or licensing information in the edit summary, or the source may be obvious but it is not in standardized template form. If so, simply edit the description to have the appropriate templates.
