Centerville is a city in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 3,202 at the 2000 census.

Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.4 square miles (6.2 km²), of which, 2.2 square miles (5.6 km²) of it is land and 0.3 square miles (0.7 km²) of it (10.79%) is water. Main Street / County 14 serves as a main route in the community. Interstate 35E is in close proximity to the city.
Demographics
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 3,202 people, 1,077 households, and 878 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,486.5 people per square mile (575.0/km²). There were 1,094 housing units at an average density of 507.9/sq mi (196.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 96.72% White, 0.25% African American, 0.44% Native American, 0.72% Asian, 0.37% from other races, and 1.50% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.44% of the population.
There were 1,077 households out of which 50.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.8% were married couples living together, 5.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 18.4% were non-families. 13.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 1.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.97 and the average family size was 3.28.
In the city the population was spread out with 33.6% under the age of 18, 5.1% from 18 to 24, 42.8% from 25 to 44, 15.2% from 45 to 64, and 3.3% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 105.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.3 males.
The median income for a household in the city was $63,696, and the median income for a family was $67,336. Males had a median income of $42,371 versus $31,474 for females. The per capita income for the city was $23,113. About 0.6% of families and 2.4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 0.7% of those under age 18 and none of those age 65 or over.
