Cheryl Ann Salisbury (born 8 March 1974 in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia) is a female football (soccer) player. She currently plays as a defender for the New York Power in the WUSA and for the Newcastle United Jets in the W-League.

She is captain of the Australian female national team, the Matildas. She is Australia's highest female international goalscorer of all time with 28 goals in representative fixtures. Cheryl became only the second Australian female to play 100 A-internationals, which she achieved during the 2004 Summer Olympics – in the 1-1 draw against USA. Cheryl posed nude (for the May photo) in the 2000 Matildas nude fund-raising calendar.

She enjoys surfing, and playing with her dog and cat.
