The Christian Science Sentinel
"What I say unto you I say unto all, watch." - Mark (The Bible)
The Christian Science Sentinel was introduced by the Christian Science Publishing Society, founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1898, as the Christian Science Weekly. The name was soon changed Christian Science Sentinel. The magazine’s motto comes from the Gospel of Mark: “What I say unto you I say unto all, watch.” The Sentinel presents a world view, based on the teachings of Christian Science, of the events and emerging trends that most affect society. It includes articles, editorials and accounts of healing which illustrate the results of applying spiritual laws to everyday challenges. It also features items of interest gathered from various media and information about public talks on Christian Science.
The Christian Science Sentinel Radio Edition is a weekly program broadcast around the world and released monthly on CD and audiocassette. Like the magazine edition, through interviews and discussions, it presents a spiritual perspective on current events and individual challenges. Some of the programs may be accessed on the website of the Christian Science Publishing Society."
