David Sage is an American television actor known for his various roles in television in the 1980s and 1990s. Mainly, he plays judges and doctors for his stocky build and white hair. Among the many shows he was in, Sage appeared in such shows as: The Practice (Federal Judge), The West Wing (John Van Dyke), L.A. Law, Murder, She Wrote, and Hill Street Blues.

But perhaps Sage's most memorable role was his role as Jerry Seinfeld's father's doctor who refused to give him a diagnosis after Jerry's dad was too frantic over his missing wallet.
