In human anatomy, the groin areas are the two creases at the junction of the torso with the legs,[1] on either side of the pubic area.[2] A pulled groin muscle usually refers to a pulled hip adduction muscle.[3]

The term is sometimes used as a euphemism for genitals,citation needed since the names of the latter are taboo words in some cultures.citation needed
