Iluka is a far northern, fast-developing beachside suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Joondalup. Its postcode is 6028. Iluka is a generally new and upper-middle class locale with many basic homes further from the ocean but many larger and more expensive homes closer to the sea. The popular surfing spots in the region include Mullaloo Beach, Sorrento Beach and Hillarys Beach. The suburb has a large sporting facility, Iluka Sports Complex (Beaumaris Sports Association), the home of Heathridge Soccer Club, Joondalup District Cricket Club, Joondalup Lakers Hockey Club and the RugbyWA back to back helathway Club Champions Joondalup Brothers Rugby Union Football Club as well as private functions. It has many function rooms as well as a licensed bar. Iluka also offers Beaumaris Beach, complete with lunch shelters, barbecues and toilets. Iluka is still being developed with many new houses being built and expanded towards the north.

Home Owners Association

All owners of land in Iluka are automatically members of the ILUKA Home Owners Association.

The association manages land and housing covenants and some of the local area maintenance.

It maintains verges, median strips and entries into the area including shrub and general maintenance, mowing and reticulation. It does not maintain public areas such as park land.

This arrangement is unusual for a Perth suburb as local area management is usually performed by shire councils (such as Joondalup Shire Council). In this instance though Iluka is recognised as a premium suburb above in stature to neighbouring Ocean Reef.
