The expression Intifada of Independence (in Arabic: انتفاضة الاستقلال‎, transliteration: intifāatu-l-istiqlāl) can refer to a number of uprisings in the Arab world ("intifada" means uprising or rebellion):

  • The Lebanese protests against the Syrian occupation of Lebanon, also known as the Cedar Revolution.
  • Riots in Western Sahara, also known as the Independence Intifada in Polisario related circles.
