The International Headache Society (IHS) is a charity organization founded in 1981 for people from all professions that are working to treat headache disorders.

It has over 1,000 ordinary members (including national society members). The society publishes an international journal Cephalalgia. The society was incorporated in 1994 in England and Wales as a Company Limited by Guarantee and registered in 1995 as a charity.

International Headache Congress

The International Headache Congress (IHC) is held every second year, organized and hosted on behalf of IHS by a member national society.
