The Italian order of precedence is fixed partly by Royal Decree no. 2210 of December 16, 1927 and partly by the praxis. It's a hierarchy of officials in the Italian Republic used to direct protocol.

- The President of the Senate of the Republic (Renato Schifani)
- The President of the Chamber of Deputies (Gianfranco Fini)
- The President of the Council of Ministers (Silvio Berlusconi)
- The President of the Constitutional Court (Franco Bile)
