Jackson and Sharp Company was a shipbuilder and railcar maker in the late 19th Century. Founded in 1863 in Wilmington, Delaware, it was bought out by American Car and Foundry in 1901.1 The company was founded by tinsmith Job H. Jackson and carpenter Jacob F. Sharp.2
The company coninue to manufacture until the end of World War II.
