K-284 is a short east–west spur highway in northern Lincoln County connecting the town of Barnard to K-14 approximately 10 miles (16 km) north of Lincoln. The highway designated as K-284 runs for 6 miles (9.7 km) from K-14 to Barnard where the road continues east as a county-maintained paved road toward Ada and Minneapolis.

Route description

The route begins at a junction with K-14 north of Lincoln. From this junction, K-284 heads east through farmland as East Wheat Drive. After an intersection with 240th Road, the route approaches the city limit of Barnard, where it terminates. The road continues through Barnard as Ballard Avenue.[2]
