2006 is the International Asperger's Year marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Hans Asperger, discoverer of Asperger syndrome.
On Sunday 12th February 2006 churches of all denominations around the world will mark the International Day of Prayer for Autism and Asperger's Syndrome. February 2006 is also the Month of Prayer for Autism - churches, mosques, temples, gurdwaras, synagogues will remember all people with autism and Asperger's Syndrome in prayer.
