Miguel Zacarías Nogaim (March 19, 1905 – April 20, 2006) was a Mexican film director, producer, and writer of Lebanese origin, her mother is Lebanese.
Zacarías began directing for film in 1933. Even from his early career he developed a reputation for recognizing new acting talent and founded the careers of the some of Mexico's most notable actors. Zacarías founded the careers of actors such as Pedro Armendáriz in Rosario (1935), María Félix, Marga López, Esther Fernández, Manuel Medel and numerous others.
His last film was in 1986.
He died of a heart attack aged 101 on April 20 2006.
