Nghệ An (pronunciation ; Hán Tự: ) is the largest province in the North Central Coast of Vietnam.

The province is divided into one city (Vinh), one town (Cửa Lò), and 17 districts:

Education

There are two universities in Nghệ An, both of them are in Vinh City which is the capital of Nghệ An province. The biggest one is Vinh University.

Nghệ An is the home province of Phan Bội Châu, Ho Chi Minh...

Ethnic groups

In addition to the majority Viet people, some O Du people also live here.
