Plasmodium draconis is a parasite of the genus Plasmodium subgenus Asiamoeba.
Like all Plasmodium species P. draconis has both vertebrate and insect hosts. The vertebrate hosts for this parasite are reptiles.

Description
The parasite was first described by Telford in 1995. [1]
The schizonts produce 4–16 merozoites.
Geographical occurrence
This species is found in the Philippines.
Clinical features and host pathology
The only known host of this species is the flying lizard Draco volans.
