Reihan Morshed Salam is a Bangladeshi American journalist. He is an associate editor at The Atlantic and a fellow at the New America Foundation. He has written for numerous publications, including the National Review, Slate, The Spectator, The Weekly Standard, and The New York Sun.[1] He previously worked as a producer for NBC News, a junior editor at The New York Times, and a reporter for The New Republic. He co-authored Grand New Party: How Republicans Can Win the Working Class and Save the American Dream[2] with Ross Douthat and blogs regularly at The American Scene. He attended Stuyvesant High School (where he was head of the debate team) and Harvard University.[3]
