Stereomud was a rock band from New York/Georgia, United States. They released their first album, Perfect Self, on Columbia Records in 2001 and a video for the song "Pain" received airplay on MTV2. After extensive touring in support of that album, they went back into the studio, releasing Every Given Moment in April of 2003. After participating in the Jagermeister Music Tour with (hed) P.E., Breaking Benjamin, Systematic, and Saliva, Columbia Records cut their touring support, and dropped the band. Due to this, and an impending Life of Agony reunion, Stereomud went their separate ways in July of 2003, a mere 3 months after the release of Every Given Moment. They have performed a few select reunion shows since this, but for the most part, the band remains dormant to this day. Recently, it was rumored that Rogers and Lowery would reunite to reform the band but the possiblities may not be true as they are focusing on their own bands. It is planned a Stereomud DVD will be released some time soon.

- "Pain" is frequently used as intro music on the Nova-M Radio network program The Randi Rhodes Show.
- Several songs from their first album have been used as bumper music on the Glenn Beck Program, beginning as early as 2002.
- They contributed the song "End of Everything" to WWE for the WWE Forceable Entry album. The song was also used as an entrance theme song for professional wrestler Raven
- Corey Lowery is the brother of Clint Lowery, member of Sevendust. Both were members of Dark New Day. Clint rejoined Sevendust in 2008.
- Stereomud was part of the Jägermeister Music Tour in the spring of 2003 also featuring Systematic, Breaking Benjamin, and co-headlined by (Hed) P.E. and Saliva.
- Erik Rogers is currently working on a new project called Love Said No with Bobby Burns (Soulfly/Primer 55), Frank Fontsere (Stuck Mojo) and Billy Grey (Soundevice)
- Don't Be Afraid was used on NFL Gameday 2003.
