what is bioprocess?

Accoding to me bioprocess is a biological activity in which the biological material(enzymes, micr-organisms) combined with grain material or with some other to for the desired products. in early timings as our ancestors used bioprocess technology to manufacture bevrages. They used yeast with grain and fermenting it led to formation of bevrages. now a days the process is similar to the previous, but we are well equiped with some new devices or some new ways to carry out the process
