Structure

When someone has time, please add proper headings. I can imagine at least the following headings:

  • Species, listing the species.
  • APIs, talking about the core API, compara API, Ensembl Hive, and possibly the gene building pipeline.
  • Sub-projects (or spin-offs), like BioMart, Reactome etc.
  • Misc., other stuff like the send a geek for a week thing, and external workshops on Ensembl.
  • Other efforts, recognizing similar efforts, such as the UCSC browser.
