General elections for the House of Representatives were held in Thailand on 22 March 1992, the first elections after the National Peace Keeping Council overthrew the elected government of Chatichai Choonhavan in a coup in 23 February 1991. 15 parties and 2,185 candidates contested 360 seats in the election, during which 59.3% of the electorate voted. The Samakkhi Tham Party won the most seats, with the Chart Thai Party and New Aspiration Party trailing closely behind.
