Evangelos Vlachos (born 6 January 1962) is a former Greek football player and current coach.
Vlachos played for AEK Athens for 5 consecutive years, three of them was the captain of the team. Then he moved to Panathinaikos in the Alpha Ethniki from 1985 to 1991.[1] On 25 June 2012 and after serving in several 1st division Greek clubs as a head coach, he returned to AEK Athens and signed a 2 year contract. Between 2006 and 2009 he had a break from coaching to "focus in family and other things, more important than football".
