Leaving answers as to why an article can or can not be created on Articles for Creation can be a tedious and repetitive task. Therefore, User:Deskana made some templates that make this task easier. Other users have since added more templates.

Please remember to use the '''subst:''' command. It reduces server load (see WP:SUBST).

These templates are used when reviewing anonymous users' Articles for Creation submissions.

Decision templates

These templates are used to explain your decision on an article to the submitter and to other reviewers. You never have to use a decision template; you can just write out your description in your own words instead. Your decision (whether or not you use a template) should be placed at the end of the submission, just before the {{subst:afc b}} template. Don't forget to sign your decisions with ~~~~, whether or not you use a template.

{{subst:afc lang}}	Submission is in a language other than English	Declined. This is the English-language Wikipedia; we can only accept articles written in the English language. Please provide an English-language translation for your article, or visit the Wikipedia home page to find the version of Wikipedia for your desired language.
{{subst:afc joke}}	Submission isn't quite patent nonsense, but is definitely a joke	Declined. Thank you for your submission. It appears that your submission is an attempt to be humourous over being factual. As Wikipedia strives to contain only factual entries, we can not accept your submission at this time.
{{subst:afc npov}}	Submission doesn't quite fit spam, but is meant to aggrandize the subject	Declined. Your article does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of published material. If you still feel that this subject is appropriate for Wikipedia, please rewrite your proposed article in the form of an encyclopedia entry, and make sure to avoid certain terms meant to show off the subject.

It is better if you do not subst it, to make it easier for a later reviewer to remove it. This template puts the page in Category:Wikipedia article creation requests needing further review.	The previous reviewer could not decide whether this article is appropriate for creation. The previous reviewer left the following comment: This seems barely notable. Please review the article carefully and, if possible, render a decision on it.
{{ afc discuss }} links talk view	When you can't make up your mind on an article, and want to discuss it with other reviewers.
