Issues to be mediated

The party filing this request uses this section to list the issues for mediation. Other parties can list additional issues in the section below.
  • Whether the inclusion of Giovanni from New Zealand is a WP:BLP violation
  • Whether there is a consensus at the talk page is that it's a not really BLP violation, and whether this consensus should override SqueakBox's objections that it is a violation
  • Whether the proposed draft (the short version) can be changed so that it stops being a BLP violation

Additional issues to be mediated

Other parties can use this section to list any others issues they wish to include in the mediation. Please do not modify or remove any other party's listing. Please sign all additions to this section if there are more than two parties involved in this case.
  • Additional issue 1
    • BLP issues of any sort found in the personal legal issues section and in the opening, this mediation clearly has to deal with more than just the NZ issue.
  • Additional issue 2

Parties' agreement to mediate

All parties should sign below, indicating that they agree to mediate the issue. If any party fails to sign, or if a party indicates they do not agree, then the mediation will be rejected. Only "Agree" or "Disagree" and signatures should appear here; any comments will be removed, but can be made at the talk page.

I suggest that the mediator consult privately with Fred Bauder, if available, concerning background issues affecting this article. Newyorkbrad (talk) 19:06, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Why privately, out of curiosity? If mediation begins, it will take place on the MedCom wiki for the purpose, and that is private to participants isn't it? Avruch T 19:13, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
I am at your disposal regarding any matter concerning this case, publicly or privately. Fred Talk 03:26, 27 September 2008 (UTC)
I didn't mean so privately that the parties to the mediation would have no idea what is going on. However, as you may be aware, there is a history of serious legal threats associated with this article. Newyorkbrad (talk) 19:18, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Ah, thanks for clearing that up. I am aware - I'm even a named target. Avruch T 19:46, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
As am I. JoshuaZ (talk) 01:23, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Sounds like a good idea. Thanks, SqueakBox 19:33, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
  • I would like to take the case, assuming that nobody has a problem with it. Wizardman 00:37, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
  • I don't have any problem. --Enric Naval (talk) 15:09, 2 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Great. Thanks, SqueakBox 01:30, 3 October 2008 (UTC)
