Recently, today, notice that the infoboxes are showing two maps of Georgia instead of one showing the county in Georgia and the second being Georgia in the US. I don't know why they aren's showing the USA map correctly. Infoboxes are displaying maps correctly now.

    Images

    WikiProject Georgia (U.S. state) uses Category:Georgia (U.S. state) articles needing images to monitor all Georgia articles needing images. In addition, Wikipedian photographers living in Georgia use the subcategories at Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Georgia (U.S. state) to locate those subjects near where they typically take photographs. The "imageneeded=" and "in=" parameters of {{WikiProject GeorgiaUS}} populate both these categories.

    • To request an image for an article, use the "imageneeded=yes" parameter in the {{WikiProject GeorgiaUS}} article talk page template. Please use the "in=" parameter in the {{WikiProject GeorgiaUS}} template to specify the Georgia county where the photograph may be taken. Up to three locations may be specified, such as {{WikiProject GeorgiaUS|class=Start|importance=Low|imageneeded=yes|in=Fulton County, Georgia|in2=Putnam County, Georgia|in3=Taliaferro County, Georgia|nested=|unref=yes}}
    • If you need to specify four or more locations (such as a road passing through eight Georgia counties), use {{reqphoto}} and its multiple "in=" parameters.

    Task Forces and Work Groups

    The advantages of establishing a new group as a task force or work group within an existing project are that generally, task forces require fewer members to be effective and do not have the same degree of required project maintenance, as much of that is taken on by the parent project.

    Current work groups

    Proposed work groups

    Several new task forces have been proposed. The purpose of this section is to guage user interest in each of these areas of the project before putting a lot of effort into creating a detailed project page. If you're interested in any of the projects listed here, simply add your name to the appropriate list and start contributing to the relevant articles.

    Proposing a Work Group or Task Force

    If you would like to set up a new group specifically to function as a task force of this project, please list it in the Proposed Projects section above as this area is used to gauge support for potential task forces. Please write a brief description (including links to the related Wikipedia articles), and add it along with your name to the list below (in alphabetical order by topic). Some boilerplate you can use:

    ==== Name of work group====
    ; Description : [description here]

    ; Interested Wikipedians (please add your name)
    # [your name here]

    ; Comments

    If your proposal gains support from 5-10 active Wikipedians, it could probably benefit the WikiProject as a Task Force or Work Group. If you want to start a page before you have 5-10 active Wikipedians, consider setting up the page on a subpage of your user page until it is active, while leaving the posting here with a link to the user page.

    Archived work group proposals

    In the event a given proposal does not receive sufficient support within 4 months of posting here to create a task force, it should be moved to this listing.

    Project template

    {{WikiProject GeorgiaUS}} should be placed on the talk pages of relevant articles to put them under the project's radar.
