Scope
The goal of this WikiProject is to improve health coverage and the organization of the subjects of health and fitness on Wikipedia. Toward that end we develop and maintain the following resources on Wikipedia:
Contents system coverage
An article on a topic is only helpful if you can find it. But you can't find it if you don't know about it. Wikipedia's contents system is designed to show what exists and how everything fits together. Please help to develop and maintain it by adding links to health and fitness pages. Thank you.
Here are the various parts of the contents system and how they pertain to health and fitness:
Contents pages
There is a section entitled "Health and fitness" on each of Wikipedia's main contents pages:
Contents · Overviews · Topics · Basic topics · Glossaries · Portals · Featured content · Categories · A–Z Index
The development and maintenance of those sections falls within the scope of this WikiProject and Wikipedia:WikiProject Contents.
Health lists
There are many health-related lists on Wikipedia, and they form part of the contents system mentioned above. The main ones are Topic outline of health, Lists of health topics, Topic outline of nutrition and Topic outline of exercise. There is also an index under development that can be accessed from Lists of health topics.
