Articles lacking citations
Current requirements are that all articles, particularly FAs, should have inline citations. The following medical featured articles are lacking in inline citations - they will eventually come up on WP:FAR if not cited - perhaps the original nominators/editors can be enlisted to help bring to standard:
- Barbara McClintock - (User:Petaholmes) - now partially cited
- Chagas disease - (User:Rsabbatini) - now partially referenced

Chagas disease
I've cleaned up what citations were there to provide for inline cites, and done some rearranging to conform to WP:GTL and WP:MEDMOS, but the article needs more work. Lacking inline citations (less than half of the article is cited), does not conform with WP:MEDMOS (for example, History need not be at the top of the article), and the Prognosis section is written in medical jargon, needs a copy edit, and is hard to understand. It has come very far, appropriate references are now used, but I still question:

- In the lead: Aspergers in children and adults assistance can consists of contraversial therapies that address the core symptoms of the disorder:
- Research: Some research is to seek information about symptoms to aid in the diagnostic process. Other research is to identify a cause, although much of this research is still done on isolated symptoms. A lot of research have exposed base differences in things such as brain structure. To what end is currently unknown; however, research is on-going.
- Causes (this is it): The direct cause(s) of AS is unknown. Even though no consensus exists for the cause(s) of AS, it is widely accepted that AS has a hereditary factor.[42] It is suspected that multiple genes play a part in causing AS, since the number and severity of symptoms vary widely among individuals.[5] Studies regarding the mirror neurons in the inferior parietal cortex have revealed differences which may underlie certain cognitive anomolies such as some of those which AS exhibits.[43][44] ther possible causes being investigated include: a serotonin dysfunction and cerebellar dysfunction.[45][46] Simon Baron-Cohen proposes a model for autism based on his empathising-systemising (E-S) theory [47][48]
- Treatment: A few studies are more useful for determining efficiency of treatment with control group and pre-test and post-test designs and statistic evaluation of efficiency of treatment. These interventions typically are packaged to treat the entire syndrome (UCLA and TEACCH for instance). [55] Side effects are unintended effects. This topic has largely been ignored in the intervention literature on children. [55] Behaviorally based programs rarely include measures of the core symptoms of autism such as the ADI-R or CARS. [55]

- You wouldn't happen to know anyone with access to those psychosis and leprosy citations, would you? They're both in the American Journal of Psychiatry, and they're the only ones I could find that didn't make it clear that dapsone was the causative agent. The 1959 one had enough abstract to make it clear that leprosy was supposed to be the one stressor at play. The one from 1974 has a PDF that I can't get to. I don't know what it's saying about the 1959 paper.--Rmky87 00:17, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
