Wterm is a terminal emulator for the X Window System. It is a fork of rxvt, designed to be lightweight, but still full of features. 1 It's appearance was designed for NeXTSTEP style window managers such as Window Maker, and GNUstep.2

Some features include customizable background images, background color tinting, and zero overhead pseudo-transparent background. The terminal support for Latin, Chinese, Kanji, and Greek characters.2
