Yonkers High School, New York is an IB School. The International Baccalaureate is a highly regarded curriculum program that allows students to study anywhere in the world. IB is known for its rigorous program. Universities recognize this 2 year course. If you complete the full IB program in 11th and 12th grade you receive the diploma that allows you to go anywhere in the world. Certificates are available for those who don't finish all the courses. When students are aiming for the full IB Diploma they are required to do at least 80 hours of CAS. CAS (Creative, Action, Service) hours allow the student to become well rounded and looks even more impressive on a college resume.
