Young Animal (ヤングアニマル Yangu Animaru?) is a magazine in Japan that features seinen manga and scantily clad women. It is published by Hakusensha and issued twice a month on Fridays in B5 format.
It was first issued in 1989 as Animal House but was renamed to Young Animal in 1992. However, it may have begun as early as 1981 as a shōnen magazine entitled "Shonen Jets", since manga serialized in Young Animal is later published in graphic novel form as part of the "Jets Comics" line, and since Shonen Jets appears to have been discontinued. 12
