Zhao Hongzhu (Chinese: 赵洪祝; July 1947 -) is the current secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Zhejiang committee.
Biography
Zhao was born in Penglai, Shandong Province. He joined the Communist Party of China in August 1969.
In April 1998, he became the deputy Minister of Supervision of the People's Republic of China. In November 2002, he became a standing committee member of theCentral Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the vice director of the CPC central organization department. He was appointed to his present post as the secretary of the CPC Zhejiang committee in March 2007. Zhao is currently a member of the 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
